Our Story

It all started a few years ago, at the end of an architectural project for one of our clients.
We were searching for simple, authentic, material-driven objects — the essence of Provence. Nothing quite fit. So we made them ourselves.

Then it happened again. Lighting, tables, counters, chairs… We began designing more and more custom pieces, blending Provençal spirit with contemporary lines.
Soon, collections began to take shape — a new chapter for BOSC.

Jean and Arthur Bosc

But our story goes even further back.
With our father, Hugues Bosc, a talented Provençal architect, we learned to value our local heritage. In his projects, old beams found their way back into ceilings, and terracotta tiles were laid on the floor. The philosophy: rooted in tradition, reimagined for today.

That vision extended beyond architecture. It also inspired design and decoration.
Who could forget Pierre Bergé’s Provençal home, his black-painted chestnut chairs, or the zelliges arranged like artworks on the walls?

Today, we carry on this philosophy. Our ideas come to life in the hands of carefully selected artisans, using raw and local materials.
